Issue

On Controlling Station, the Max Authentication Failures statistic is reset whenever a valid Session Key Change Confirmation is received from the Outstation, while on Controlled Station the Max Authentication Failures statistic is not reset whenever a valid Session Key change has been received.

Proposal

On Controlled Station, the Max Authentication Failure statistic should be reset whenever a valid Session Key Change has been received.

The statement "Reset Authentication Failures Statistic" shall be added in Table 30, Cell 24, in both columns C and E.
Note: This change is already done in IEC 62351-100-1:2018.
