Clause: 8.5.5.2.2

Paragraph: 1st and 2nd bullet point

Issue

For the sake of clarity, and to align to the provisions of RFC 8052, and to be consistent with the information provided for the 3rd and the 4th bullet point (i.e. “OID Specific Payload Length” and “OID Specific Payload”), I would suggest adding the indication of the size of the fields "OID Length" and "OID".

Proposal

Add the indication of the size of the fields "OID Length" and "OID" as per the attachment.

The Edition 2 that I have (FDIS) has the following statement in 8.5.5.2.2

"• OID Length: This length shall be an unsigned integer value and shall specify the number of octets of the ASN.1 encoded OID, whose value follows the length.
• OID: This set of octets represents an ASN.1 encoded Object Identifier. The value of the identifier defines the payload that follows. It is the use of this Object Identifier that will allow other organizations or standards to utilize this payload extension process without collision in the context of the definition. The Object Identifier values are defined as mandatory (m) or optional (o) in Table 4.
• OID Specific Payload Length (2 octets) -- Length of the OID Specific Payload. Set to zero if the OID does not require an OID Specific Payload.
• OID Specific Payload (variable) -- OID specific selector encoded in DER. If OID Specific Payload Length is set to zero, this field does not appear in the ID payload."

I don't understand the issue. It looks to me that it is already there.
