IEC Public Commenting Terms of Use

By registering, the user:

Agrees to use the information provided within the IEC Public Commenting for its intended purpose of giving on-line comments on Committee Draft for Vote (CDV) only;

Acknowledges that IEC is the copyright owner of the CDV;

Agrees not to copy or disseminate the provided information, make it available to the public or carry out any other unauthorized use;

Agrees to keep the personal access (password) secure and undertakes not to make the password available to others.

The registered access is not transferable to another person.

The Committee Draft for Vote (CDV) is presented to the registered user for review and comments, and by registering the user acknowledges that the published standard may differ substantially from the CDV.

The user agrees that personal contact is accessible to the IEC, the IEC National Committee of the country of residence and that the user can be contacted by IEC or the IEC National Committees.

The IEC and the related National Committees are not liable for any damages that may arise from the unauthorized use or publication of the CDV.

The IEC Central Office (CO) reserves the right to block or delete user access at any time.

The IEC CO may delete the access to this platform when a registered user does not access the Public Commenting for an extended period of time.

The IEC CO reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
